Most likely, this is the formula type you will use most of the time.  The below formula builder is set up for the sample files included with the MetaStockCSV Plug-in installation.  If the base symbol of the MetaStock function is an Index or ETF on our sample datafile list, the calculation will reflect the composite data for that Index or ETF.  If the base symbol is a security not on our sample list, the calculations will reflect composite data on the default Index or ETF as indicated in MetaStockCSV Plug-in configuration (under the "Settings" tab).  Certainly, you can mix any "regular" MetaStock functions with our formulas.  The data period (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) is that of the base symbol in this type of plug-in formula.
